A little about me

I am Vince Savoldi, 3rd generation carpenter, born right here on the peninsula, way back in 1960. The peninsula was a smaller place back then, everyone knew everyone and getting help around the house was as easy as calling a friend. Those days are gone and it's harder to call a friend for help around the house. That's why I'm here, to offer you quality work for reasonable rates while maintaining the charm of the different areas and all the uniqueness that makes Monterey Bay such a special place to live.

Savoldi Home Services was established one evening while I was sitting down with a few friends and a relative. We were talking about home repairs and pretty soon it started into a list of complaints about how hard it is trying to find reliable people to work on our homes. You call and set up an appointment and they would never show up or just be late. When they did show up, sometimes they would leave to go get supplies never to be seen again (yes money for supplies was paid in advance). I was actually laughing when one person mentioned  the sloppy guy who literally was tripping over his own supplies and cables. When he did finish he left the mess for homeowner to clean up.

Knowing that I have over 20 years in the construction industry and am experienced with all phases of construction One of these friends mentioned to me "You should be a Handyman". I though well, why not? after thinking about it a little I decided to give it a try.. That was over 5 years ago and I am not looking back.  I love what I do and it shows in my workmanship.

Originally I was just doing a little advertising on craisglist.org but last year I started advertising in the Monterey County Weekly. This year I am changing the company website name to MontereyBayHandyman.com in honor of becoming a sponsor of KRML Radio. www.krmlradio.com 

I am very happy to report that I love running my own business because I am totally responsible for the quality of the job that gets performed. I only do quality work and will not skimp just to get a few extra of your dollars.
